Histoires de Parfums
From the incredible imagination of Gerald Ghislain, Histoires de Parfums is an olfactive library telling stories of famous characters, writers, poets and years throughout history.
Gerald Ghislain originally began his career in another sensory trade – as a chef. As a passionate jack-of-all-trades, Ghislain is an epicurean; he tastes all of life’s savours, sprinkling his daily life with refined luxury and sensory experiences. An insatiable wonderer, he listens, reads and discovers, drawing inspiration from his trips and encounters. Gerald is impulsive and fully committed to his projects.
Founding Histoires de Parfums in 2000 and creating a unique collection of rare and delicate perfumes: these perfumes like him are rich in temperament and are so, so romantic! Diving deep into the world of French niche perfume, Histoires de Parfums takes us through different decades and introduces us to different characters of the literary world. A perfume collection that throws out all rulebooks, Histoires de Parfum only follows one steadfast conviction – inspiration. In this collection you can meet extraordinary characters, discover the most exquisite materials in the world of perfumery, delight in poetry, and encounter sublime divas…
With this perfume library, Gerald Ghislain wanted to evoke stories through scent just as books are written with emotions. Each fragrance brings a story to life and each story is to be read on the skin.
