Top Products Inspired By, Contain or Remind Us of Honey
This month at Lore is all about honouring our friends the bees, and that precious golden goodness they produce.
We have heaps of products that are either inspired by, contain (ethically sourced of course) or remind us of honey – here are some of our favourites!
Oud Delice by Robert Piguet contains honey from Provence, and really captures the smoothness and fluid richness of honey, grounded by the animalic, earthy oud.
While Megalium by Carner Barcelona doesn’t contain honey as a note, it smells exactly like honey that’s been spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg – resinous and warm with a rich sweetness.
The Honey Collection
Panier des Sens
This range from Panier de Sens is full of organic honey extract from Provence. A skincare superhero, the range harnesses honey’s power to aid in moisture absorption and soothe the skin. Oh, and it smells utterly delectable.
If a liquid atomizer fragrance isn’t really your thing, perhaps a Parfum Crema will be! You can rub this perfume cream from Tokyo Milk into your pulse points and wear it by itself, or use it to layer underneath a fragrance of your choice!
A Study of Honey Candles
Violet Eyes Entomology
Violet Eyes’ A Study of Honey candle has become a fast fave of ours here at Lore. A painstakingly crafted olfactive examination of the golden liquid created by honey bees, this candle’s fragrance actually contains a local Australian honey note!
Inspired by the Jardin du Luxembourg’s lush gardens and numerous beehives, the scent of this candle is of fresh lilac and warm honey – the feeling of springtime excitement represented in scent.
