From Keiko Mecheri’s Soliflorals line comes Isles Loîntaines, or “distant islands”. A rich and sensual soliflower centred around a true gardenia. The fragrance opens with fresh hesperidés (orangey-citrus) notes and sweet almond. Very soon the powdery, velvety heart appears, unveiling a solar bouquet of tuberose, Tahitian tiaré, jasmine and rose absolute that enhances gardenia femininity. The rich, slightly balmy base can create a sense of the South Pacific Islands beaches and sun-kissed skin.

Isles Loîntaines starts and ends with intoxicating gardenia and tiare entwined, swirling around eachother in creamy, velvety wafts. As the scent spends more time on the skin, the tuberose, almond and rose enrich and shine a spotlight on the stars of the show, before drying down to a skin-like base of vanilla and amber. This fragrance has wonderful lasting power, journeying about 8 hours on the skin.

We love this scent as it’s unlike any other gardenia we have at Lore. It’s gardenia on a tropical holiday – light, fresh, carefree. It’s intoxicating, carnal and alluring – we can imagine this scent eminating from a white flower tucked behind the ear of a Polynesian goddess.
