Indian Study is an intoxicating combination of Mysore Sandalwood and Sandalwood Amyris (West Indian Sandalwood).
Mysore Sandalwood has the reputation of being the best quality Indian sandalwood, its oil is produced from trees that have matured for around 50-60 years. In India, it is considered a royal tree and the ancient art of Ayurveda has relied on the wood for years, as its healing benefits cannot be matched. Amyris Sandalwood has a warm, soft, and musky aroma and is more commonly known as West Indian Sandalwood, also known for its purifying virtues.
On top of the sensual sandalwoods, Indian Study has notes of Masala mix, including curry and cumin. Obviously heavily inspired by India, Miller and Bertaux also wanted this scent to mimic the refinement of the wood varnish on Indian musical instruments.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Miller met Bertaux in Paris, 1985.
Both frequent travellers and natural-born creatives, Francis Miller and Patrick Bertaux became partners in life and business, setting down their suitcases in Paris’s Marais fashion district. They opened a boutique; showcasing their clothing, creations, and treasures brought back from their travels.
Their wanderlust next led them into the world of fragrance, and they began to create scents inspired by their lives and travels. An armful of flowers placed on the ground at a French market… a rose in the ear of a man from the Far East… the incense of a Mexican church… moments, stories, and images like these were transformed by Miller and Bertaux into fragrances wearable by anyone, anywhere.
