This Melbourne based perfume brand is created by husband and wife team – Josh and Jules. Some of our favourite faces here at Lore Perfumery, Josh and Jules live around the corner from our flagship store on Brunswick Street, Fitzroy so we’re lucky enough to see them quite a bit. This Melbourne made range is a true product of Australia, with each perfume telling the story of Josh and Jules’ relationship and adventures in and around Melbourne. First of all we love how this whole range smells…secondly and almost as much, we love how being from and inspired by Fitzroy amd it’s local surrounds…we feel like we can almost claim them as our own. So proud of Josh & Jules’ perfumed ode to their long standing and inspired lives in Fitzroy are we.
HOW IT WEARS
Guilty Story is an Eau de Parfum you’ll be enjoying for anywhere up to 6 – 8 hours on the skin, but most likely the longer end with this particular scent. A delicate smoky aura surrounds & embraces here, with notes of saffron, cinnamon & tobacco offset by a delicate tang of bergamot, & earths them into the skin upon a base of sandalwood, amber, sweet, fleshy musk & vanilla pretty much from opening throughout the entirety of it’s wear.

We lurve how this sweet, deep and slightly smoky concoction almost literally captures a night out, filled to overflowing with it’s namesake. Those rich, debaucherous, morning after kinda vibes clinging ever so fondly to the clothes and skin. An enthusiastic sampling of the cocktail menu, over abundance of spiced rums, or whatever else may have taken your boozy preference throughout the night, all mixed in with a cheeky ciggie…maybe. I mean, you normally wouldn’t have but, come on…we’ve almost all done it. A guilty story or three, filled with equal amounts of fun and regret. Mischievous.
