Aymara takes us to the Bolivian highlands and introduces us to its First Nations peoples. Connected to the land in every way, the Aymara people see the Andes mountains as their providers. Their mythology ascribes climate-controlling powers to spirits that live in the land, and the figure of Mother Earth is central to their spirituality.
With Palo Santo used by the Aymara people in their sacred practices, as well as an array of woody and spicy notes evocative of the highlands, this fragrance is a natural and spiritual journey.

HOW IT WEARS
Aymara opens with an explosion of bright, green cardamom, emphasised by caraway, cumin, and tart citrus. As the fragrance begins to settle, the warm sweetness of Palo Santo appears, with the echoes of smoky incense in the background. After a few hours on the skin, the musky intensity of ambergris and earthiness of moss is revealed. The dry down is a warm, bright spice that will last 6-8 hours on the skin.

Miller met Bertaux in Paris, 1985.
Both frequent travellers and natural-born creatives, Francis Miller and Patrick Bertaux became partners in life and business, setting down their suitcases in Paris’s Marais fashion district. They opened a boutique; showcasing their clothing, creations, and treasures brought back from their travels.
Their wanderlust next led them into the world of fragrance, and they began to create scents inspired by their lives and travels. An armful of flowers placed on the ground at a French market… a rose in the ear of a man from the Far East… the incense of a Mexican church… moments, stories, and images like these were transformed by Miller and Bertaux into fragrances wearable by anyone, anywhere.
