Vetiver Geranium is inspired by travels across Indonesia, particularly the mountainous landscape – rolling hills, a slight mist throughout the air, the dense greenery and mystery of the forest during the cooler wet season. Olivier Creed’s favourite destination was always Java, he loved the untouched nature of the area. This fragrance captures the freshness of the air, the woody depth and light greenery and is finally, completed by the gentle warmth of a soft mist that is gradually lifting to reveal even more majestic grandeur. A tranquil moment in the crisp fresh air of the morning.

HOW IT WEARS
Vetiver Geranium gives us smooth, mellow freshness. It’s green and refreshing, yet also earthy and peppery. A wonderfully balanced fragrance, the vetiver gives a green and earthy element, whilst the geranium is sharper, almost peppery, and refreshing. Then, we get the hint of fruit and rose which give a subtle hit of sweetness to the earthy bed of notes they sit on. An EDP, this collection has great longevity for such fresh and bright scents. We get around 6 – 8 hours on the skin generally with a medium silage.

We can absolutely be transported to a cool, misty morning in Indonesia during the wet season with Vetiver Geranium. It smells like you are immersed in the rainforest, the luscious greenery surrounding you as the sun rises and the mist gradually lifts to reveal the warm day and bright sun. You can almost smell a soft and gentle waft of smoke in the distance like someone is cooking in an old oven. Refined yet rustic, a perfectly genderless scent that smells of untouched land.
