Our Top 20 Fragrances for Spring
Ah spring! You couldn’t have arrived soon enough.
The flowers start blooming, the days get lighter, the weather gradually thaws out, and we all feel that general rebirth that spring brings. There’s something hopeful about spring, everything seems somewhat more radiant and generally just easier and better as soon as we hit September 1st!
As with any new chapter in life, a new season calls for new fragrance. While we don’t submit to ‘rules’ around what you should wear, when or how, we also thought springtime is the best time to talk about floral fragrances. So read on for our top 10 floral spring picks.

Top 10 Floral Fragrances
Neroli Oranger is a hyper-realistic, fresh yet delicate orange blossom. Pure and angelic, it is the perfect blend of white florals and rich, bright citrus. It’s simple, smile-inducing, and best of all for a fragrance like this – actually lasts.
Created for Audrey Hepburn then released to the public in the 90s, Spring Flower is the scent of a provincial garden in bloom. With plump fruits, sweet-smelling blossoms and a hint of musk, this timeless classic is the ultimate fresh fruity floral.
A new addition to Juliette has a Gun’s collection, Magnolia Bliss heroes the splendour of the ancient magnolia flower. Complemented by plum, neroli and musk, this scent is fun, playful and uplifting.
This fragrance is a blend of osmanthus blossom (a floral reminiscent of peach or apricot) and the classic tuberose, with a hint of springtime greenness and spice. It opens with an almost sparkly freshness, and on the dry down is richer and sensual.
Developed during lockdown as an ode to spring-time walks, this super green scent heroes linden (lime) blossom, bergamot, and then some more unusual notes like absinthe, vetiver and grey almond. A fragrance for those who don’t usually foray into the world of florals.
An incredible rose soliflore by Keiko Mecheri, Mogador has three different types of rose in it, brightened and freshened by a hint of jasmine. We imagine this scent as a pristine, leafy rose preserved and displayed under a sparkling glass cloche.
Tardes, meaning “afternoon” in Spanish, is the scent of almond trees in blossom, the subtle scent of wild roses and geranium in the background. It’s incredibly evocative of that time of the day when the sun starts to dip and the anticipation of the night ahead unfurls.
A romantic, softly feminine but not overly sweet floral, Close Your Eyes and… is a delightful blend of juicy citrus, rich, dreamy floral and creamy almond. Like a butterfly kiss or atender embrace.
A juicy, rich rose scent with a blackcurrant and green moss base, Aphélie is a truly unique floral. It’s redolent of thick, green brambles and thorny roses under the full moon on an early spring night.
Top 10 Non-Floral Fragrances
The scent of rain on a warm, overcast day in Melbourne, Petrichor Plains is very much the scent of September. With notes of violet and rosemary (in so many gardens around the inner city) and of course grounded by sandalwood, it is simultaneously warm, cool and earthy.

A fresh woody musk that comes alive on the skin, Parisian Musc is one of our ultimate spring fragrances. Super modern and androgynous, this scent brings to mind the milky sap that comes out of a green branch snapped off a young tree.
The scent of fresh figs, geranium, citrus and cypress dotted along the Sicilian coast. Fresh and bright yet earthy and warm at the same time. Long lasting and perfect for those warmer spring nights.
Fresh flowers, grass, herbs and citrus evocative of a walk through a beautiful meadow, this scent is crisp and green and super fresh. The smell of springtime, bottled.
Wood Infusion is a truly subversive oud scent – it’s not overly heavy or rich, it has an airy freshness to it (without sacrificing depth). Soft, almost sweet, this scent is perfect for woody fragrance lovers to transition out of winter with.
The scent of your skin enhanced by creamy, earthy woody facets – that’s Genetic Bliss. Wear it by itself and it will hug your skin softly, or layer it under another fragrance to give it some extra earthy “oomph”.
Soft, creamy white woods balanced perfectly with green aromatics – Bois Blanc is the scent of dappled sunlight through the foliage of a forest. Rugged yet charming, this scent isn’t too heavy or intense, but it will make you want to lean in closer to smell it.
