Electric Wood Extrait reignites Room 1015’s very first fragrance (inspired by founder Dr. Mike’s very first Gibson guitar) transforming it into a bolder, wilder, deeper, and more emotional version for the brand’s 10th anniversary. It’s not just a scent – it’s a performance. Like a guitar bursting into flames mid-solo, this amplified extrait unleashes adrenaline, rebellion, and sacred madness. Electrifying!
“A scent for those unafraid to turn up the volume and become the show…” – Dr Mike

For us, Electric Wood Extrait opens with smooth, waxy iris and the crispness of cedar – an echo of the original Electric Wood formulation. As soon as it begins to dry down however, a crescendo of notes begins to happen on the skin. An explosion of spice hits your nose – fiery saffron, sharp nutmeg, green vetiver and the brightness of cardamom combine, beckoning in the bridge of the fragrance. Here’s where the guitar solo happens – myrrh, cypriol and vanilla harmonise with each other to create a rich, gooey, warm and sweet dry down that’ll have you doing that stank guitar player’s face coz it just smells so damn good. As an extrait, it has incredible lasting power and projection, like it’s hooked up to a giant perfume amp.
Electric Wood Extrait is nothing like the original, it’s hotter, deeper, darker and much more dramatic. If Electric Wood EDP is The Beatles before they went all transcendental, Electric Wood Extrait is after. It’s the While My Guitar Gently Weeps guitar solo of perfume. It’s also unlike anything else Room 1015 has done before, it’s their first vanilla/amber fragrance, so we think really filled a gap in their lineup. Chuck on a classic rock ‘n’ roll record, spritz a bit of this, and you’ll be in rockdog heaven all day long.
