Envisioned as a stroll in a misty morning by the littoral, the fragrance personifies an instant of allure and captivating charm. It is a Chypre, a misty morning in the Japanese forest that develops gradually with a prelude of fresh citrus notes into a bouquet of toasted spices, pine trees and marine notes, before drying down to Indonesian patchouli leaves, incense and driftwood.

HOW IT WEARS
Embruns opens with bright, zesty yuzu and bergamot, which gives way to peppery spice. A salty marine breeze carries in the patchouli, hinoki needles and incense. The dry down is a creamy, ambery, musky scent with a hint of the earthier oakmoss. This fragrance will envelop your skin in a soft shroud for about 6-8 hours.

Founded by its namesake in 1997, Keiko Mecheri is all about unconventionality and the reinterpretation of tradition in fragrance. Keiko herself was born in Japan, studied in Europe and then eventually settled down in Los Angeles, California, where she founded the brand. The fragrances reflect this worldly influence while keeping a distinctly LA feel – bohemian and laid-back, but also diverse, imaginative and innovative.
