DITA VON TEESE + HERETIC PARFUM = SCANDALWOOD
Heretic Parfum pride themselves on working only with naturally derived materials, but this time the world-famous burlesque performer Dita Von Teese lured them in a slightly different direction for this artistic collaboration, aptly named Scandalwood.
Since naturally occurring musk notes can only be created from animal derivatives, Heretic created a synthetic musk accord for this fragrance in order to achieve the exact feel they wanted for this seductive scent. They then combined those musk notes with naturally derived materials, in their usual fashion. The result is a mysterious, clean fragrance that dives deep into velvety sandalwood, roses and sparkles of coriander. It’s a scent fit for a sex siren, created with the eye of a visionary. A soft, red-lipped whisper with an all-consuming allure.
Scandalwood is non-toxic and free from phthalates, parabens, and EDTA. It is a safe synthetic fragrance that is not 100% natural.

HOW IT WEARS
Sandalwood wears beautifully, an intimate scent on the skin. The creamy, earthy sandalwood shines and is the hero of the fragrance, sweetened slightly by the Bulgarian rose and ylang ylang. Coriander seed and myrrh add spice to the scent, labdanum giving it deep, resinous grounding. The musk accord and orris butter emphasise the soft sensuality of the sandalwood perfectly. This fragrance is perfectly balanced and blended, and will last a good 6-8 hours on the skin, depending on your skin type.
