The third part of the Eau de Parfum series where each creation stars a spicy or aromatic ingredient inspired by the travels of house founders Francis Miller and Patrick Bertaux.
Malagasy is an olfactory journey to the heart of the island of Madagascar, in search of the most precious of treasures: Voatsiperifery, commonly known as wild pepper. This rare pepper, evolving in the middle of this so singular fauna, is accompanied in the fragrance by woody and floral notes sublimated by the freshness of citrus fruits.

HOW IT WEARS
Malagasy opens with a refreshing burst of pink pepper which remains throughout the fragrance as the spices take hold. As the fragrance settles the earthy tones shine bright, however Malagasy remains quite fresh throughout. This is a more gentle earthy scent. A delicately spiced fragrance with the usual refinement that Miller et Bertaux lend to their fragrance. Malagasy sits closely to the skin with longevity of between 6 to 8 hours, settling into an earthy spicy scent. The soft swirl of incense and labdanum with the refreshing woods and gentle spices.

Miller met Bertaux in Paris, 1985.
Both frequent travellers and natural-born creatives, Francis Miller and Patrick Bertaux became partners in life and business, setting down their suitcases in Paris’s Marais fashion district. They opened a boutique; showcasing their clothing, creations, and treasures brought back from their travels.
Their wanderlust next led them into the world of fragrance, and they began to create scents inspired by their lives and travels. An armful of flowers placed on the ground at a French market… a rose in the ear of a man from the Far East… the incense of a Mexican church… moments, stories, and images like these were transformed by Miller and Bertaux into fragrances wearable by anyone, anywhere.
