- Description
Part of the “Talismania Collection’, a collection of olfactive talismans inspired by heroes, adventurers, and mythical figures. Korrigan is inspired by folklore, and of the magical spirits of the forest of the same name. In the Armorican countryside the Korrigans frolic and get up to mischief at night. They come out to harvest Juniper Berries and wild Beechnuts. Then, in dark caves, they distil barley into spellbinding spirits, spicing them with Saffron, musking them with Ambrette, and finally scenting them with Lavender. During the solstice festivals, they all drink their elixirs out of leather pouches, causing bodies and souls to capsize. Korrigan is a perfectly boozy and delicious concoction that only a magical sprite could create in the depths of the night. An intoxicating and irresistible way to satiate the thirst while also drawing intrigue from all directions.

HOW IT WEARS
We were blessed with a generous 8 hours from this delicious fragrance. Gourmand from start to finish, we noticed that the scent did simmer down after a few hours, and like any good drink, only became richer with time. Opening with a smoky, boozy burst, Korrigan settles into a coffee like, nutty gourmand cocktail. Getting sweeter and creamy the milky tones with the hint of smoke and rich earthy base create the most interesting (and incredible) fusion of notes.
LORE LOVES
Boozy and creamy we can imagine (and lets be honest…we have) enjoyed many a night with the liquors that taste just like Korrigan smells. We have enjoyed these drinks at parties that sound all too similar to the tale of the Korrigans and their Solstice celebrations. With a blend of Cognac and Whiskey, spiced with Saffron and Ambrette, this fragrance oozes luxury and sublime pleasure.
