Art. #3557- In the Ladin-Ampezzan language spoken in Cortina d’Ampezzo, “Šfarìa” is the word for thin, powdery snow; a term voking the typical fineness of softly falling snowflakes, as they descend from a lead gray sky and silently reach the ground. When these cold snow grains blend with the balsamic, resin like hints of pine and fir and with aromatic Artemisia, they give birth to an intense fragrance, indelibly carved in our memory. That unique scent has now a name – Eau de Parfum Šfarìa, specially formulated by Acca Kappa to celebrate the Queen of the Dolomites on the occasion of the Cortina 2021 championships.

HOW IT WEARS
Sfaria opens with a really wonderful warm/cold contrast that is so interesting. The Pine note is there and it is almost as though you are in a snow covered pine forest smelling nature, yet are rugged up and super warm and cosy. We get the Pine note shining through initially, balanced with the fresh and crisp Citrus which gradually leads into a richer woody scent on the skin. Beautiful and warming with the resins, Patchouli and Sandalwood coming through.

We love the wonderful Pine note in this fragrance, it smells like nature and transports us to a crisp winters day on a snowy mountain top – the grandeur of nature overwhelming us. The warm and cold tones mingling gorgeously and keeping us intrigued the entire time.

There is something incredibly warming about this perfume that i cannot get enough of. balsamic and woody, Sfaria transports me to cooler climates, nestled up next to the fire. Although its a scent layered with intoxicating woods and resins, there is a familiar sweetness attached to it, that truly draws you in. I cannot wait to make this my newest Winter scent.
