Blamage is Alessandro’s mistake, his failure, a disgrace! This fragrance is an unwise and unfortunate creation caused by bad judgment and care. After working on many different creations within the Nasomatto collection, Alessandro would keep all of his ‘failures’ in one area of his studio. One day smelling the beautiful concoction of all of his ‘failures’ he actually discovered a treasure as they all blended together to create the most incredible aroma. Recreating the scent of his ‘failures’, Blamage teaches us to accept ourselves including our faults and our mistakes. Beauty in imperfection. A long and complex recipe, this fragrance is mysterious, sensual, slightly metallic and woody. We get a little element of white floral notes to open with, which leads into a woody, spicy and almost slightly leathery base. An incredibly unique scent!

Blamage is a Parfum so it should generally give the wearer anywhere from 8 hours + longevity on the skin, because all Nasomatto fragrances are created using Parfum extract, you’ll probably be wearing this scent for at least that long. Potentially up to 24 hours, and if it’s on your clothing, even longer. Blamage may both confront you and keep you wanting more, but it will also keep you guessing, be assured. At first floral, then a touch of musk and powder with a deep, sensual base this scent really does have it all and it’s definitely in, or rather on, for the long haul.

Nasomatto means ‘crazy nose’ in Italian and this range is for the daring and nonconventional. After working in commercial fragrance for many years, Alessandro longed for his own range of weird & wonderful scents that push the boundaries and become addictive, creating Nasomatto.
